The case in diameter 39,4 mm features red sun –ray guilloche dial with the distinctive image of a dragon in 18 carat rose gold with a ruby eye. Off-centred time hour and minute dial is surrounded by rose gold sun-like design which greatly resembles the sharp talons of the dragon. Time dial as well as the dragon’s tail which is located below the 2-disc panorama date display positioned at 4 o’clock and small second dial which is below the time sub-dial are pave set with 174 Top Wesselton IF Quality diamonds. The bezel pave is set with 64 rubies which weight about 0,96 carats. The case back is transparent and features a scratch resistant sapphire crystal
which is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). The crown is set with one ruby weighting approximately 0,96 carats. The manual winding caliber GO 65-01 contains 48 jewels and has a power reserve of 42 hours which is displayed in a form of the dragon’s tongue located at the 2 o’clock. The extraordinary watch comes with a red crocodile leather strap and 18 carat rose gold tang buckle set with 12 diamonds and 10 rubies. Like other Glashutte’s masterpieces, the Golden Dragon also features swan-neck fine adjustment, finely finished movement with bevelled edges and hand engraved designs which can be admired through an exhibition type case back.
