Swiss luxury watch manufacturer TAG Heuer introduced the world's first professional golf watch in year 2005 after more than a year of close collaboration with Tiger Woods, one of the most successful golfers of all times and currently the World No. 1 golfer. TAG Heuer Professional Golf Watch has been designed specially for top-level golfers both ergonomically and esthetically. The brand also made sure that the watch does not adversely affect the swing. TAG Heuer Professional Golf Watch follows highly elegant design of other brand's sports watches. The square-shaped case with dimensions 37,5 millimetres from 6 to 12 o'clock and 36,7 millimetres from 3 to 9 o'clock is 10,5 millimetres thick and comes with Tiger Woods logo on case back. It is made of a mixture of finely brushed grade 2 titanium and stainless steel making the watch ultra-light but durable. The case houses extra flat RONDA 1005 high quality quartz movement providing exceptional reliability and precision. The dial is available in black and white version both featuring a golf ball like texture with luminescent hands and hour markers for better legibility, and a date display at 3 o'clock. The dial also features green-red coloured “TAG HEUTER” logo at 12 o'clock and “PROFESSIONAL GOLF” lettering at 6 o'clock. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal has anti-reflection coating on both sides and is waterproof to 50 meters (165 feet). The crown is located at 9 o'clock preventing injury of the wrist during the swing, while the silicon bracelet that is available in white and black colour is highly elastic and provides optimal comfort. Fold over clasp with double push-button safety is integrated in the case. Pushbuttons are located at 10 and 2 o'clock.
