The Quenttin is definitely one of the most recognizable men's watches created by the Jacob & Co. The watch which was launched in 2007 can be described as amazing, beautiful, unusual or even weird but definitely not as just an ordinary "luxury" watch. The bezel and case come in 18K white gold, 18K rose gold or magnesium featuring carbon applications on the side of the watch. The Quenttin's vertical mechanical 40 jeweled movement features a manual winding escapement and incorporates the Swiss anchor mounted in a Tourbillion cage. The Tourbillion can be seen through a sapphire crystal display in the case band. Unlike the vast majority of other watches which have either analog or digital display, The Quenttin is recognizable by a time display in the style of a cassette player from the 1960's or the 1970's with mechanical counter. Like the hours and minutes, the power reserve is displayed through vertical rolls. The watch is powered by 7 barrels which is enough for 31 days (744 hours). It is water resistant up to 100 feet (30 meters). The size of the cage which is attached to a rubber strap is 56 x 47 x 21,5 mm.
The Quenttin has no other special features apart from displaying time, on-off key for time set up or winding and external access to the Tourbillion for fine-tunning but it is still regarded as one of the most exceptional watches on the market. If you are impressed by its unique appearance you should hurry up because it was issued in limited edition: 99 pieces in white gold, 18 pieces in rose gold and 18 pieces in magnesium, while platinum bezel and case are available only on request. The Quenttin is definitely a piece of art and you can be sure that you will not go unnoticed with The Quenttin on your wrist.
