Ulysse Nardin Black Ocean

Ulysse Nardin, a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer creating mechanical watches for over 164 years has been always known for its dedication to exclusivity, innovation, exceptional craftsmanship and the traditional Swiss precision which make Ulysse Nardin timepieces one of the most sought after luxury items all over the world. The brand is best known for its marine chronometers, a collection of faultlessly precise instruments renowned as one of the most reliable in the world. The Ulysse Nardin Black Ocean, one of the most recent creations in the line of the Marine collection issued in limited edition of 1846 pieces celebrates the early history of the brand by its concept, design as well as the number of issued pieces. All correspond the year of the brand's foundation as well as the year when the first marine chronometer was issued and elevated the Ulysse Nardin timepieces among the best Swiss made luxury watches. The spectacular men's watch is a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, and mechanical accomplishment and outstanding craftsmanship. The Black Ocean follows the concept of the first Ulysse Nardin marine chronometer created in 1846 but is marked by modern yet highly elegant design, magic black color and oversized seconds-hand. The case with diameter 42,7 millimeters and a graduated unidirectional rotating bezel is made of exclusive black DLC treated stainless steel, while the sapphire crystal on the caseback reveals the watch's movement and its black winding rotor. The wave-patterned black dial features gray luminous hour and minute hands, and grey luminous index markers providing optimal legibility during poor light. Like the original Ulysse Nardin marine chronometer, the Black Ocean has power reserve indicator located at 12 o'clock and small seconds display featuring a large round date window at 6 o'clock. Small seconds display also features  red lettering "1846" and white lettering "MARINE DIVER CHRONOMETER". Red oversized seconds-hand, red lettering "1846" and red hand indicating power reserve create a spectacular contrast to the black-grey dial featuring white lettering "AUTOMATIC 200 M" at 9 o'clock and lettering "ULYSSE NARDIN" with the brand's symbol - an anchor at 3 o'clock. The amazing timepiece is powered by COSC certified self-winding movement, has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours and is water resistant to 200 meters (656 feet). It comes with a black rubber strap featuring ceramic elements, lettering "LIMITED EDITION" and "ULYSSE NARDIN", and deployant clasp.
