Edox has a history relating to automobile sports and there wasn´t much of a surprise when it was announced the official timekeeper of the WRC 2010. In order to have a real celebration a great men´s watch was made, the Edox WRC Rally Timer Day Date. This swiss watch has an 42mm stainless steel case equipped with a remarkable - quite big! - crown and protected by scratch-proof sapphire glass on both sides. The movement which propels this watch is an in house made automatic Edox 83 Caliber which is based on the ETA 2834. The dial is based on an car´s carbon fiber dashboard with red and white numbers and can be found in black or blue. Apart from the time the day and day-of-the-week are also displayed, at 3 o´clock and 9 o´clock respectively. This premium watch is water resistant up to 100meters. Two options are available for the strap, a common stainless steel bracelet or a rubber strap one with sports tire pattern. A quite nice collection watch from Edox.
