Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean

Omega SA is one of the most recognizable premium watch brands in the world ( see Omega Watch History ). The company has a rich history dating back to 1848, while Omega Speedmaster Professional Chronograph has become the first watch on the Moon worn by "Buzz" Aldrin in 1969. Omega SA is also associated with the James Bond movies since 1995 when Pierce Brosnan began wearing the Omega Seamaster in the Golden Eye. The current James Bond - Daniel Craig also wears the Omega Seamaster. The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean (Reference 2201.50 00) is the latest "James Bond" timepiece worn by Daniel Craig in the Quantum of Solace. The case in diameter 42 mm houses Omega 2500 self-winding chronometer calibre featuring Omega's revolutionary Co-axial escapement movement which has a rhodium-plated finish. The domed sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant and anti-reflective. The black dial comes with stainless steel or 18 carat red gold hands depending chosen variation of the case which is available in stainless steel and 18 carat red gold (Reference 222.60.42.20.01.001). Both variations feature a date display located at 3 o'clock, screw-in crown, unidirectional rotating bezel, chronometer and helium escape valve, and are water resistant to 600 meters (2000 feet). The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean comes with stainless steel or 18 carat red gold bracelet but leather and rubber strap are available as well. It has a power reserve of 48 hours. The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean is aesthetically pleasing and elegant, comfortable to wear and has everything a man could expect from a luxury watch.
