Tissot always tries to reach every audience with innovative multi-functional watches and is keen on letting it be known. Also bombed with their publicity on T-Touch thought it up: "Why not, sounds impressive".
It's T come from tactile as it's sapphire glass allows the selection of a wide set of functions such as a thermo, meteo, altimeter and compass, along with the regular alarm and chrono. Ok, basics first. It's simple T-touch comes in 6 different versions, that basically differ on it's bracelet, case material and dial colour. It's case may be in platinium, rose and yellow gold (18 carats), titanium, polished titanium and stainless steel, and it's face and bracelet come, respectively for each model in grey and leather black, white and leather brown (both gold versions), black and silicon orange, white mother-of-pearl with white leather and for the stainless steel version, black face with a rubber black bracelet. Totally a sports watch, unfortunately lacks that stylish looks one easily get used to, but it's extra functions may come in hand… This quartz with EOL indicator basically has a temperature, magnetic and an atmospheric pressure sensor that after careful calibration allows it to measure the temperature (in C and F), it's geographic location, it's height comparing to sea level (in m and ft), and to predict the weather for the next 24 hours. All this functions are important in a men watch for a trekking fan but it's downside is it's short water resistance (only 30 m/98 ft), which for a sports watch is quite bare. Plus, neither of this functions work underwater and if you think about what truly a men sports watch must endure, it's frail look makes you wonder…is it really up to?
