Concord C1 Chronograph

From the moment you first lay eyes on the COSC-certified Concord C1 Chronograph, you will marvel at its dynamic and svelte design. But beauty is not only skin deep with the C1, as the well crafted casing securely protects the heart of this time piece with a plethora of hi-tech features to guarantee it will keep ticking.
Examining the C1 from the outside in, you will first notice the stunningly sound steel casing which measures in at 44 mm in diameter and 16.7 mm in thickness. The fact that the case is comprised of (42?53?) individual parts, it has been cleverly designed with to withstand depths of up to 200 meters (20 ATM) while providing advanced shock absorption and increased sturdiness. Extending over the bezel and firmly secured by seven self-blocking side screws is a rubber-coated protective metal ring adorned with eight decorative tabs. All of this is set in place to protect the stunning 3.3 mm thick anti-reflective sapphire crystal that emerges from the case. The crown, which is made from steel, rubber, and composite metals give the impression that it is securely holding everything tightly together. You will be hard pressed to find a case designed as secure and stylish as this while continuing to offer unparalleled durability.
Turning the C1 over will expose its self-winding mechanism, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with up to 48 hour energy reserve, and oscillating weight in contrasting black rhodium. Made of a finely milled carbon fiber blend, the black trimmed luminescent dial greatly accentuates the depth one perceives the C1 to have. Underneath the exceptionally delicate and hollowed out hands, you will notice a seconds subdial, date, thirty minute and twelve hour counters on the C1's face. You will find the seconds subdial located at 9 o'clock operated by a remarkably small permanently rotating disk measuring less then 0.1 mm in thickness. Positioned directly under 3 o'clock is the lightly visible date function. Stationed at 12 and 6 o'clock are the thirty minute and 12 hour counters. And to bring the entire face of the dial together, the seconds hand has been matched to a Concord blue with the first fourth of the minute circle.
When securing the watch to your wrist, you'll be presented with the options of a black vulcanized rubber bracelet accented with a brushed metal finish, or with the patent pending metal link bracelet that has been seamlessly integrated with the case while providing exceptional articulation.
Not just any watch is capable of receiving the a certification from the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). To achieve such an honorable certification, the C1 Chronograph endured a two week long series of highly detailed tests inside a COSC Laboratory, specifically regarding its self-winding configuration. Regardless of the certification, the immaculate handy work needed to simply configure and assemble the dials delicate hands shows a craftsmanship and dedication that set the C1 Chronograph in a league of its own.
