It dates from 1950 but Rolex updated this version of the Oyster (2007) with minimum changes but the result is a much more reliable watch than it´s predecessor.
Mechanic and structural enhancements were made in this 2007 version.
The watch movement is protected by an magnetic shield which provides extreme reliability even when found under the influence of strong magnetic fields.
