Milus Tirion Triretrograde Seconds Skeleton 1919
The success story of Milus, today one of the finest Swiss luxury watch brands started in 1919 but the brand entered a new era following the formation of the company Milus International SA in 2002. Since then Milus has introduced several exceptional timepieces that have wowed the world of luxury watches but has fascinated the most with the exquisite Tirion Triretrograde Seconds Skeleton 1919 presented to the public at Baselworld in 2009. The Tirion Triretrograde Seconds Skeleton 1919 is a homage to the brand's expertise in fine watchmaking and exclusivity. The watch that won the first price for the "Best of Timepieces" at the Couture Design Awards in Las Vegas is truly a piece of art which fascinates with its retrograde seconds complication but in contrary to majority of other milestones in the world of luxury watches which are often not aesthetically appealing, the Tirion Triretrograde Seconds Skeleton 1919 reflects pure beauty, elegance and luxury. The three retrograde seconds display located at 6, 10 and 2 o'clock are definitely the most fascinating feature of the spectacular men's watch. Each second display moving clockwise measures 20 seconds at a time. One of the most outstanding features of the time piece, aside the Triretrograde seconds complication, is also the depth of the skeletonized dial which actually consists of two layers: the sun-stamped movement at the base and the dial plate on a higher level. The amazing watch is powered by high quality mechanical movement in an unique version with module MILUS 3838-automatic which enables the retrograde seconds complication. In addition to hour and minute display, the Tirion Triretrograde Seconds Skeleton 1919 functions also feature date display within round opening at 6 o'clock. Large date is coated with SuperLumimova. The dial plate has blued Arabic numerals, a Milus logo plate fixed by two screws at 12 o'clock and "1919" printed on below the Milus logo. Blued steel hour, minute and three seconds. The case with diameter 45 millimeters comes in 18 carat red gold 6-N, the tone of gold that used at the beginning of the 20th century. The 9-part case is protected by curved oval sapphire crystal. The spectacular watch comes with dark brown alligator leather and buckle/ folding clasp in 18 carat red gold. The Tirion Triretrograde Seconds Skeleton 1919 is issued in limited edition of 38 pieces only.
